St John’s First XIII
Mark Cronk Trophy
Awarded to the Best and Fairest player in the First XIII who has excelled all year in training,games and in his attitude. Named in honour of Mark Cronk, a young St Johns ex-player who died in an accident in 1980.
Dennis Jessup Memorial Shield
Awarded to the player who has played the most number of games up to First XIII. Named in honour of Life Member of the Club, Dennis Jessup.
Brian McCullagh Players’ Player
Awarded to the player voted by his peers to be the best. Named after a former teacher at St Johns who played a major part in the club in the 1970’s, developing the culture of the First XIII.
